About Us

After serving the community for many years in two separate careers, we decided as husband and wife to join forces and bring our two experiences together and start Loving Life Caregivers.

We wanted to create a new approach to serving the disabled community.
our two professions crossed paths many times throughout our careers. we discovered that together we managed to enrich our clients lives in ways we couldn't achieve separately.

the secret to our success is that our support personnel are more than just there to help with aDLs and navigate routine life skills. They are the "new best friend" that is needed but never thought of before. They are the "let's go see a movie buddy". "Go hiking for fun", "Have our nails done" together and so much more.

Susan M. Shraim
R.N./D.O.N.

Susan Shraim, R.N. D.O.N., has extensive experience working in home health care with the aging population and DDD community based industries. Her nursing experience with developmentally disabled young adults led her to discover a big need for a new approach to providing assistance in and outside of the home. Her ground breaking new strategy for 'companion' based community inclusion for young adults is that these individuals need 'friend-like companionship'. This approach made learning new skills for independent living enjoyable and had greater success. Susan saw the growth in these people as they developed confidence, understanding and a positive feeling of individual self worth.
